Hi Hi Hi!
Its Little Brown Girl Here! My name is Raisa! I was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology with hopes of pursuing a career in medicine. Aside from APHP, I am involved both on and off campus. You may find me giving tours around the school as a Rebel Recruiter from the Office of Admissions. I am an intern at the nonprofit organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters Program and spend my weekends volunteering at the Desert Springs Hospital. I am an Engelstad Scholar and an ANNAPISI Stem participant. Additionally, I am involved with the UNLV Rebel Ambassadors Program, UNLV Admissions’ Social Media Team, and many other RSOs. I hope to get involved with research within this year. My hobbies include teaching myself new languages and eating cultural food. As the CDR co-chair,I hope to keep everyone informed of upcoming events and activities through regularly updating all APHP social media outlets and the APHP website. If you ever see me around campus, feel free to say hi. If you guys have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Hello, my name is Ashra. I was born in Hyderabad, India, but raised all over the world (from Malaysia to the United States). I am majoring in Computer Science and Biology. I hope to one day become a neurosurgeon and work with Red Cross overseas. Aside from APHP, I volunteer with Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN), Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, and Miracle Flights. My hobbies include cooking, binge-watching Netflix, and make other people smile. As one of the CDR co-chair, I plan to keep everyone connected and informed about events. I cannot wait to meet all the new members and work with everyone to better our community and achieve our goals.
